🎃 One of our favorite parts of October is pumpkin farm season! Our EHS families enjoyed a fun day at Jerry Smith Pumpkin Farm. They had lunch, fed the animals, and walked down through the farm while taking in the sights and making special memories together. We love celebrating fall with our families! 🍂🧡

This National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we’re recognizing the incredible businesses and organizations that opened their doors to KAC’s Summer Employment Exploration participants.

Through hands-on experiences, our participants explored different careers while building important workplace skills and what it takes to maintain employment.

🎉 Congratulations to Amaya on her first day of work at Bon Appétit at Carthage College!

From KAC’s Summer Exploration Program in 2024 to the Stella Internship in 2025, and now Voyage, Amaya continues to grow and reach new milestones. She’ll balance attending Voyage three days a week with her new part-time job.

Families had the opportunity to meet current EHS families, connect with our community partners, explore our play spaces, meet advocates, and enjoy dinner together.

Our EHS program recently celebrated some of our little ones as they reached an exciting milestone and prepared for their next adventure! 🌟

Join us for our first-ever Campfire Candy Crawl on Saturday, October 24 from 2–4 p.m. in the KAC parking lot! 🎃

Come dressed in costume, crawl your way through for candy, then cozy up by the fire and make a s’more! 🍫🔥 This family-friendly event is completely FREE and open to the community!
