Before-school recess begins each morning at 8:30 a.m. Please review the following expectations with your student:
-K–2 students may play in Zones 1 and 2.
-Grades 3–5 may play in Zones 5 and 6.
-Zones 3 and 4 are closed before school.
-Students must place their backpacks and all personal belongings on their assigned dots before going to play.
-Students may wait on their assigned dots, but they may not gather there in groups. Students who want to visit with friends should go to their assigned play zone.
-Students in Rooms 5, 7, and 9 may only wait on their dots when they are with a parent or guardian.
-Students coming from the bus loop must walk up the sidewalk and may not cut through the grass.
For student safety and supervision, parents and guardians may not enter the playground after 8:30 a.m. Please say goodbye to your student before they enter the playground area.
