💙 We’re proud to be part of something truly special!

United Way of Southern Chester County is honored to partner with AHHAH Arts Holding Hands and Hearts, Inc. for its Basket of Love Campaign, a yearlong collaboration bringing together 12 local organizations to strengthen support for children and families across Chester County.

Through literacy, mindfulness, and the arts, AHHAH empowers youth, strengthens families, and mobilizes communities. The Basket of Love Campaign celebrates a simple but powerful truth: it takes a village to help every child thrive. 🧺❤️

Throughout the year, each participating organization is featured and invited to share its “Basket of Love Wishes”, meaningful ways our community can support its mission and make a difference.

We were honored to be the featured organization in July 2026 and grateful for the opportunity to share our work and our wishes with the community.

Together, we can build stronger families, brighter futures, and a community where every child has the opportunity to thrive. đź’™

United Way of Southern Chester County is happy to support AHHAH Arts Holding Hands and Hearts, Inc. and the Chester County Imagination Library (CCIL) in bringing the joy of reading to young children in our community! 📚❤️

The next CCIL Children’s Book Club & Storytime is coming up Friday, September 4, from 10:00 to 10:30 AM at the Kennett Library. This free program meets on the first three Fridays of each month and is designed for children ages 2–4.

Bring your little one for a fun storytime, followed by a craft activity that brings the story to life! It’s a wonderful way to introduce children to a lifelong love of reading.

What happens when a community comes together to help? Incredible things.

This year's Week of Caring brought together 15 nonprofit partners, 29 service projects, and more than 120 volunteers who donated 410 hours of service to strengthen our community.

That's the equivalent of more than $13,500 in volunteer manpower invested directly into local nonprofit organizations in just one week!

To every volunteer who gave their time, every nonprofit that welcomed a team, and every partner who helped make Week of Caring possible—thank you. Your generosity and commitment are making Southern Chester County stronger, one project at a time.

We are grateful to everyone who helped turn compassion into action. đź’™
