Due to ongoing severe drought conditions, elevated fire danger conditions, and conditions capable of producing rapid fire growth conditions recreational fires and open flame activities are hereby prohibited.

Pursuant to 2018 International Fire Code Section 307.1.1 this temporary ban takes immediate effect on 9/2/2026 until rescinded.

Violations of this order can result in Class C Misdemeanor charges and fines up to $2,000.

The Kennedale Police Department is accepting entries for our 2026 National ‘Knight’ Out Coloring Contest!

🏆 Age Categories: Pre-K–Kinder | 1st–2nd | 3rd–4th

🎉 Winners Announced: October 6 during National Night Out!

HE'S BACK KENNEDALE!

That's right- NAT THE KNIGHT IS OFFICIALLY BACK! And he's gearing up for this year's NATIONAL NIGHT OUT on October 6TH!

We're asking neighborhoods, businesses, HOA's, apartments, churches and community organizations to register their National Night Out events with KPD so we can make sure our officers- and Nat the Knight of course!- get out to visit as much of our community as possible.
