📍 Washington, D.C. Day 3 🇺🇸

Another exciting day in our nation's capital! Students started the day with some shopping before visiting the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, and the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.

The group also explored the National Archives, where they had the opportunity to see some of our nation's most important founding documents, and wrapped up the day with a visit to the Jefferson Memorial.

From history and culture to science and government, our Wildcats continue to experience firsthand the people, events, and ideas that have shaped our nation. We can't wait to see what Day 4 has in store!

📍 Washington, D.C. Day 2 🇺🇸

Today was another memorable day of exploration and learning! Students visited Mount Vernon, the historic home of George Washington, and spent time at Arlington National Cemetery, where they witnessed the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The day concluded with a spooky evening tour through Alexandria, where students explored the city's rich history and heard stories from its past.

We're loving following along on this incredible journey and can't wait to see what adventures Day 3 brings!

Our Washington, D.C. travelers have officially arrived and wasted no time diving into history! Today, students visited several of our nation's most iconic landmarks and memorials, including the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, World War II Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Pentagon Memorial.

These powerful sites bring history to life in a way that textbooks simply can't, giving students the opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices and stories that helped shape our nation.

What a way to wrap up the school year! 🎉

Our Wildcats spent the last day of school enjoying Wildcat Play Day, filled with mega relay races, tug-of-war battles, snacks, and plenty of fun with friends and teachers. It was the perfect way to celebrate a year of hard work, learning, and memories made together.

A special thank you to the high school band students who volunteered their time to help make the day run smoothly. We appreciate your willingness to give back and serve our Wildcat community! 💚🖤

Last night, we celebrated our outstanding 8th grade Wildcats at Awards Night! As they prepare to move on to high school, we are proud to recognize the hard work, leadership, character, and accomplishments they have demonstrated during their time at KJH.

Our 7th grade Wildcats were recognized last night at Awards Night for their hard work, leadership, growth, and accomplishments throughout the school year!

6th Grade Awards Night 🏆💚🖤

Last night, we had the opportunity to celebrate our incredible 6th grade Wildcats at Awards Night! From academic achievement to leadership and growth, these students have accomplished so much during their first year at KJH.

We are so proud of the hard work, determination, and positive impact these students have shown throughout the year. Congratulations to all of our award recipients and thank you to the families and staff members who support our Wildcats every day! 🐾🎉

From creative projects to cultural celebrations, our Spanish classes have been bringing language and culture to life all year long!🎉

Students have explored traditions, completed incredible classwork and projects, and celebrated through hands-on experiences like La Tomatina and holiday festivities. These experiences help students grow not only in language skills, but also in their understanding of cultures around the world.

We are so proud of the creativity, participation, and enthusiasm our students bring to class each day! 💚🖤
