Good opportunity for anyone curious in a career in law enforcement

Thinking about becoming a police officer? Start here and take the first step toward your future today!

The Cheektowaga Police Department is proud to announce our Law Enforcement Exam Readiness Program — designed to help you feel confident, prepared, and ready to succeed in the police officer hiring process.

This is more than just a study group. It’s a hands-on, supportive program where you will: practice taking mock civil service exams, prepare for the Physical Fitness Test, learn to build a strong and professional resume, participate in mock interviews, understand the hiring and background process, receive wellness and nutrition guidance, and get an inside look at what the job truly requires.

Our goal is simple:
To help motivated individuals from our community be better prepared, better informed, and more confident when pursuing a career in law enforcement.

Whether you're already planning to take the exam or just starting to consider it, this program will give you a competitive edge and a clear understanding of what to expect. We are invested in developing strong future candidates — and that starts with preparation.

🗓 April 15th – August 19th
📍 Every other Wednesday | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📌 Open to all eligible civil service applicants

Scan the QR code on the flyer to register.

So tonight’s the night we’ve all been waiting for. You don’t have to move your cars from that prime street parking spot you’ve secured tonight. It’s REALLY over unlike the fake news I shared yesterday as I was just as excited as a you were to hear it was over. But all good things must come to an end. Hurry up spring we’ve all suffered this winter too much.

EDITED Sorry I messed up the winter parking ban ends tomorrow night so starting March 1st at midnight it’s all over…Sorry don’t hit me with angry comments too much
