🚨SCAM ALERT: Fraudulent Court Notice Circulating

Please remember:
• Do not scan unknown QR codes

• Verify court matters directly through official court contacts
• Report suspicious activity to local law enforcement

Scammers often use official-looking logos, court names, and urgent language to appear legitimate. If you receive a notice like this and are unsure, contact the appropriate agency directly using publicly listed phone numbers or websites.

Dear Citizens of Kemmerer,

Although we have experienced a relatively mild winter so far, forecasts indicate that a snowstorm is expected in the coming days. In preparation for this event, we are reminding all residents to please keep vehicles off designated snow removal routes in accordance with KCO 13-31. You can find our ordinance by visiting www.kemmerer.org.

Parking on snow-removal routes during winter weather operations creates significant challenges for our public works crews and may result in delayed clearing, unsafe driving conditions, and vehicle damage. Keeping these routes clear ensures that plows can operate efficiently and that emergency services can travel safely throughout our city.

We would also like to remind residents of the City’s ordinance regarding prolonged parking under KCO 13-27. Vehicles may not be parked on city streets for extended periods as defined by ordinance. Prolonged parking during snow events significantly hampers snow removal efforts and may result in citations or towing.

Your cooperation is essential to maintaining safe and passable streets for everyone. Please make arrangements now to ensure your vehicles are properly parked before the storm arrives.

We appreciate your attention to this matter and your continued support in keeping Kemmerer safe and accessible throughout the winter season.

Sincerely,

Chief Kahre

South Lincoln EMS attended Monday nights council meeting to recognize Kemmerer Police Department Officer Dallas Blasengym and Officer Nicole Stetenbach for their exceptional performance and life-saving efforts.

Several weeks back officers responded to a call involving a 33-year-old male in cardiac arrest. He was traveling through Kemmerer with some friends when they noticed he went unconscious. They pulled into our local fire house looking for help. Thankfully one of our firemen seen this need and began lifesaving measures.

Upon arrival, the officers quickly assessed the situation and assisted in performing CPR, sustaining life-saving measures until emergency medical personnel arrived. Along with our officers were two deputies from the LCSO and the Chief of Police from Diamondville PD.

Their quick response, training, and teamwork directly contributed to saving a life.
We commend these officers for their professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of our community.

Please join us in congratulating Officer Blasengym and Officer Stetzenbach on receiving the Lifesaving Award. The Kemmerer Police Department is very proud of their service along with our first responders from all agencies involved.
