Lincoln County Homeland Security & Emergency Management Providing support to Lincoln County's emergency services and communities. This includes 911 systems and radio/paging systems for first responder agencies.

Lincoln County Emergency Management is a division of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. Emergency Management is tasked with developing and testing response plans for large-scale emergencies within the county, as well as implementation of public safety communications and warning systems.

A Red Flag Warning is issued when critical fire weather conditions are happening or about to happen. It does not necessarily mean there is a fire, but that conditions will be very dry and windy. If a fire is present, it can become extreme! Avoid activities that could spark a wildfire!

Red flag warnings are currently active across portions of the West. Check weather.gov.

The current weather pattern remains similar today compared to the last couple days. As a result, showers and thunderstorms will be possible, with gusty winds 40 to 50 mph being the main hazard. An isolated stronger gust is possible. Rain chances today are most favored over far western Wyoming and across Johnson and Natrona Counties.
