Summerhill Inspections will be working in the area of SW 1st Ave between Grant St and Catlin St through W Main ST tomorrow Thursday June 18,2026 between 7am to 4pm. Lanes will be open in both directions on SW 1st however please drive cautiously near this work as lane shifts will occur on the W Main Bridge turning left onto SW 1st ST. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the city.

We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for our recreational Fall Softball Season!

📅 Player registration is open now through August 1. Due to the tight timeline between registration, team formation, and uniform ordering, late registrations cannot be accepted this season.

City of Kelso Water Update

We want to reassure our community that Kelso’s drinking water remains safe. The incident at Nippon Dynawave in Longview has had no impact on the safety of Kelso’s public drinking water system. We understand news like this can be deeply concerning, and we want our residents and businesses to know that protecting the safety of our water remains one of our highest priorities. Our water continues to be treated, tested, and monitored to meet all applicable drinking water standards, and city staff will continue to watch conditions closely and share updates if needed.

Our hearts are with everyone affected by this tragic event, and we continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

May 27, 2026 Guardrail Repairs
Under contract with Dirt & Aggregate Interchange, 5 locations in Kelso will have guardrail repairs taking place starting Monday, June 1, 2026. There will be one lane reduction with flaggers present while the contractor is performing work at each of these locations. This project will take approximately three days but will be completed no later than Friday, June 5, 2026. Please adhere to parking and lane change information as you travel through these areas. We thank you for your patience during this process.
