Signature gathering today in support of Butch Ware for Governor. Set up a table in a PUBLIC PARK. Two organizers for the MLK day of service came over to my table and began talking to me like they have authority to tell me to leave. THEY DONT! I was told the 'day of service' was "non political." However after they saw I wasn't aggressive towards anyone and did not impede on the park project, they warmed up and shook my hand. I was polite and respectful. Want to represent the campaign with positive intent. However don't let anyone bully you when engaging in direct action. I want to urge everyone to know your rights. Almost every PUBLIC SPACE I go to there seems to always be someone that thinks they have authority over me.

On Monday January 19th (MLK Day) I will be in Santa Rosa gathering signatures to help Butch Ware for CA Governor lower his filing fee. If any of my friends in Sonoma County are free for just two minutes, I can meet you to sign my petition. Another way you can help is to point me in the direction of a public event so i can gather signatures there. I am 100% volunteer and don't get paid a penny. Also, signing my document is only to support democracy and choice. This is not saying you support him or agree with all his policy positions. You can vote for whomever you want in june open primary.
