🏆 ¡Campeón Estatal! 🏆

After 17 rounds and more than seven hours of competition, Trinity Meadows Intermediate fifth grader Adrianno Pineda Reina won the State Spanish Spelling Bee!

By correctly spelling “obnubilación” and “panegírico” in the championship round, Adrianno earned a spot at the National Spanish Spelling Bee this July in Albuquerque.

Congratulations to the Keller High School Indians on capturing the Class 6A Division I State Baseball Championship!

What an incredible season for this team, whose hard work, determination, and resilience culminated in bringing home the state title. The championship is also a fitting capstone to the remarkable career of Coach Stramp, whose leadership and dedication have left a lasting legacy on Keller baseball.

Congratulations to our players, coaches, families, and fans on an unforgettable season and a championship that will be remembered for years to come.

Keller ISD Natatorium Facility Update:

The recommendation for the purchase of replacement pool filters for the KISD Natatorium can be found on the recently posted Regular Board Meeting agenda for June 11 under “Approval of Purchases Exceeding $25,000.” Please note that the replacement Dectron unit is not on the agenda as engineers are still finalizing their recommendations. Once those recommendations are received, the plan is for the purchase authorization for that equipment to be added to the June 25 Special Board Meeting agenda. The district does not anticipate this delaying the reopening of the Natatorium, as that date will be determined by the installation of the new pool filters.

📌 Citizens Bond Advisory Committee Meeting Recap

Keller ISD's Citizens Bond Advisory Committee (CBAC) exists to evaluate current and future facility and technology needs within the district. As part of its role in advising the KISD Board of Trustees, the CBAC assists in the creation of bond packages for recommendation to the Board.

The Keller Indians are headed to the Class 6A Division 1 State Championship!

After dropping Game 1, Keller battled back to defeat Rockwall in Games 2 and 3 (4-0, 7-6) and win the best-of-three state semifinal series. The Indians will now play for the state title for the first time since 2021.

What started as a vision inside the classrooms of the Keller Center for Advanced Learning is now a completed home built by students, for a real homeowner. The KCAL Tiny Home Project challenged students to apply their knowledge beyond textbooks, allowing them to design, build, problem-solve, and collaborate throughout every stage of construction.

Over the course of the project, students gained hands-on experience in areas including architecture, construction, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, and interior design. Along the way, they developed not only technical skills, but also the communication, teamwork, and professionalism needed for future careers.

Now complete, the Tiny Home stands as more than just a finished structure — it represents the impact of career and technical education, the value of community partnerships, and the incredible potential of Keller ISD students.
