Our thoughts and prayers go out to Chief Billy Ivey's family and Rich Square Fire Department.

Today, at 2:25 p.m., Chief William “Billy” Ivey went home to be with the Lord. Chief Ivey honorably led our department for 22 years, dedicating his life to serving this community and those around him. His legacy of servant leadership, unwavering commitment, and genuine care for others will live on in the hearts and minds of the men who served alongside him and were blessed to call him Chief and friend.

Please continue to keep Mrs. Sara Ivey and the entire Ivey family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Chief, rest easy knowing we will carry the torch forward. We will finish what you started and continue dedicating ourselves to serving this community with the same commitment and heart you showed every day.

Bubba today was your send off. It was a sad but awesome tribute. People from all walks through out your life showed up at one place, at one time, all together for you and your family. Much love and respect from your fire department family.

Station 62 Kelford Vol Fire Dept would like to say thank you to the departments who helped to send our Brother off in style today. And thank you to the departments that stood watch on our district while we were out today.

Rest easy now Brother. Your shift is done. We'll take it from here.
