J&J Trash Service will pick up bulk trash on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Please put items curbside Friday evening for
Saturday morning pick-up. Unacceptable items are TVs, tires,
oil, paint, dirt, rocks, sod, yard waste, appliances, anything
containing or once containing freon, grills, construction/
remodeling debris, hazardous materials, and flammables.

The Keedysville Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a special meeting on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 6:30 pm at Town Hall to discuss the Accessory Dwelling Units Ordinance. The meeting is open to the public.

🚧 Taylor Park Restroom Renovation Update 🚧

We wanted to provide an update on the renovation of the restrooms at Taylor Park.

Unfortunately, the work is taking longer than originally anticipated. During the renovation, some unexpected issues were discovered that needed to be addressed before the project could continue. The project has also been delayed while we wait for some necessary materials to arrive.

At this time, we do not have a reliable estimate for when the renovation will be completed, but we will provide another update as soon as we have more information.

We know the extended closure is an inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while this work is completed properly.

A portable restroom remains available on-site for park visitors in the meantime.

Thank you for your patience as we work to make these improvements to Taylor Park! 🌳

The Mayor & Council Meeting on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 7:00 pm at Town Hall is open to the public, but will go into closed session to discuss an investigative proceeding on criminal conduct. The session will be closed under the statutory authority of the Maryland Open Meetings Act General Provisions Article §3-305(b)(12).
