For the month of June, the women’s Hope center will be coming to the Kearny library on Wednesday from one to 3 o’clock to offer a parenting class to all moms. The class is called love and logic. They will be returning the next day on Thursday to the Kearny library to do their regularly scheduled classes for women from age of 13 and up from 1 to 3. Hope to see you here.

Just a reminder to parents the Kearny library summer reading program will be starting on Monday, June 1. Mondays will be ages 7 to 9 from 1 to 2 Wednesdays will be ages 4 to 6 from one to two and Thursdays will be for ages 10 to 12 from 1 to 2. We have a lot of games, crafts, challenges for reading and great prizes. This year, the first place winner and all age groups will receive a Kindle. Come sign up today at the Kearny library.

On Friday, June 5th at 3 PM author Dirk Van Leenen will be coming to the Kearny library. He will be discussing his time as a child in a N**i concentration camp. He’s written several books on his life and the tragedies he and his family endured with the N**i regime. We invite everyone to come and listen to this man story .
