🚧 Traffic Notice – 5400 South Water Line Phase 2 Project 🚧

Please be advised that the eastbound lanes on 5400 South at Mountain View Corridor will be closed beginning Friday evening through Monday morning as part of our 5400 South Water Line Phase 2 project.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes if possible.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue making important improvements to our water infrastructure.

Se les informa que los carriles hacia el este (eastbound) en 5400 South, a la altura de Mountain View Corridor, estarán cerrados desde el Viernes por la noche hasta el Lunes por la mañana como parte de nuestro proyecto de la Tubería de Agua de 5400 South Fase 2.
Se recomienda a los conductores planificar con anticipación, Considerar tiempo adicional para sus traslados y utilizar rutas alternas si le es posible.

🚧 4865 South Waterline Project – Construction Update 💧

Kearns Improvement District Operations staff have successfully completed installation of all new 8” and 12” water mains as part of the 4865 South Waterline Project! 👏

✅ Pressure testing has been completed
✅ Waterlines have been flushed
🧪 The first round of bacteriological (bac-t) testing will take place Tuesday and Wednesday this week
Once bacteria sample results are confirmed, crews will begin connecting each individual service line to the new 12” water main. Our Crews will make every effort to notify each resident of water shutdowns while we make the connections to your meters.

📅 Our crews remain on schedule and anticipate the project being completed by the first of July.

Thank you to our residents and businesses for your continued patience and support while we complete these important water system improvements for the community!

🚧 Proyecto de Línea de Agua de 4865 South – Actualización de Construcción 💧

El personal de Kearns Improvement District ha completado exitosamente la instalación de todas las nuevas tuberías principales de agua de 8” y 12” como parte del Proyecto de Línea de Agua en la 4865 South. 👏

✅ Se completaron las pruebas de presión
✅ Las líneas de agua han sido enjuagadas
🧪 La primera ronda de pruebas bacteriológicas (bac-t) se llevará a cabo este martes y miércoles

Una vez que se confirmen los resultados de las muestras bacteriológicas, las cuadrillas comenzarán a conectar cada línea de servicio individual a la nueva tubería principal de agua de 12”. Nuestro equipo hará todo lo posible por notificar a cada residente acerca de las interrupciones del servicio de agua mientras realizamos las conexiones a sus medidores.

📅 Nuestras cuadrillas continúan según el calendario previsto y anticipan que el proyecto estará terminado para principios de julio.
