🎉 What a day at Kearney Food Pantry !
We were thrilled to welcome the Clay County Public Health Center - Missouri into our space yesterday, and together we helped our neighbors connect with the resources that keep families strong and thriving.

Partnerships like this remind us of what community really looks like, people showing up, lifting each other up, and celebrating every step forward. 💚

Here’s to teamwork, shared purpose, and the good we can do when we come together. Thank you, Monica and Allyson, for sharing your day with us!

What a blessing to many!

Dear Congregation-
We are all well aware of the rise in cost of living recently. Due to this, Baby Grace would like to help our families a bit more and give them a chance to pick up some Similac dry infant formula to help their budget. We are collecting Similac powdered infant formula from now until Father’s Day to give our families with their diapers on the first Saturdays. Formula is very expensive so if you want to give as a small group or study group that would be great. There will be a table in the lobby with a sign. One of us should be close by for questions too. (We choose Similac because that is the formula WIC gives out. We don’t want to give those babies an upset tummy). Also our Love KC fund is matching $20 per container donated! So for every container donated it’s like giving a container and a half. Thank you all so much for your support.

The Kearney Food Pantry is grateful for this PEDAL FOR THE PANTRY event that the First United Methodist Church of Kearney is doing!! We are looking forward to seeing how many bikes are making the ride!

We’re excited to partner together for two meaningful opportunities to serve our community!

📍 Donation Drive at Church
From June 14–28, 2026, we will be collecting the items listed on the attached flyer in the church lobby. Donations will be delivered to the Kearney Food Pantry the following week.

📍 Bike Ride & Pantry Tour
Church members, friends, and family are invited to gather at the Kearney Food Pantry on June 28th at 2:00pm for a community bike ride to Price Chopper! Riders will travel together while a few volunteers with vehicles help transport donated items back to the pantry. Afterward, participants will return to the pantry to deliver donations and enjoy a tour of the facility.

🎆 Clay County let’s celebrate America’s 250th Birthday together!
Join us July 4th for Clay County's Under the Stars and Stripes Celebration with entertainment, family fun, and community spirit.

❤️ Bring a canned‑food donation to support the Kearney Food Pantry , In As Much Ministry Food Pantry and Trimble Community Food Pantry!

💧 We will be handing out bottled water to keep everyone cool.

Let’s fill the park AND fill the pantry shelves. 🇺🇸✨

It's hard to believe that the school year has come to an end. Huge thank‑you to our amazing local churches for stepping up and helping the Kearney Food Pantry make sure that nearly 200 kiddos in our school district have the food they need. Your generosity, compassion, and willingness to serve have made a real difference for families right here at home.
We’re grateful for this community and for everyone who chooses to show up for our kids.

We always love the Mid-Continent Public Library Kearney branch Food for Fines! Thank you to all who donated for this generous event. In total you collected 345.5 LBS.!! This helps many in our community going through difficult chapters, but not the end of the story!

This week the Kearney Food Pantry had the honor of working with the Fulfillment House on the importance of volunteering, along with sharing what we do at the Kearney Food Pantry. Today we got to work together unloading a truck and stocking shelves. We had a great time together!
