7th Annual Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony

Some names are never forgotten.

Every year, we take time to pause—not just as law enforcement, but as a community—to remember the men and women who gave their lives in the line of duty.

The Kearney Police Department and Buffalo County Sheriff's Office invite you to join us for the 7th Annual Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony on Thursday, May 7th at 5:30 PM, held on the northwest corner of the Law Enforcement Center (2025 A Ave, Kearney).

This year, we are honored to have special guest Tiffany Yant, who will share in remembering her father, Ross Bartlett, who lost his life in the line of duty on April 12, 2024.

This ceremony is more than a tradition. It’s a moment to stand together—for those we’ve lost, for the families who carry that loss every day, and for those who continue to serve.

We invite you to join us as we remember, reflect, and honor their sacrifice.

We will never forget.
