They’re silent. They’re speedy. And they’re easy to miss. If you're riding an e-bike or e-scooter, stay visible, signal your moves, and don’t ghost traffic rules.

🌳☀️ SPRING IS HERE — LET'S KEEP OUR COMMUNITY SAFE! ☀️🌳

As the warmer weather rolls in, our parks and neighborhood are coming alive again — and that means more families, kids, cyclists, and pedestrians are out enjoying everything our town has to offer.

We couldn't be happier to see our community thriving, but with that comes a reminder from your local police department:

🚗 SLOW DOWN. Speed limits exist for a reason — especially near parks, playgrounds, and school zones. A few extra seconds won't change your day, but they could save a life.

🛑 STOP MEANS STOP. A rolling stop is still a violation. Come to a complete stop at every stop sign, look both ways, and proceed only when it's safe. Children and pedestrians don't always look before stepping out.

👀 STAY ALERT. Put the phone down. Eyes on the road. Kids chase balls. Dogs bolt. Joggers round corners. Anything can happen in a split second, and your full attention is the best safety tool we have.

Let's make this the best spring and summer our town has seen — safely. We're out here with you, and we're grateful for a community that looks out for one another.

Enjoy the parks. Enjoy the sunshine. Just please — slow down and stay aware.
