We are thankful every day for our participants and their families, employees, board members, volunteers, partners, donors, and supporters. Working together, we continue to meet our mission and make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities. A special thank you this year to the West Hawaii Association of Realtors for choosing The Arc as their Charity of Choice who raised over $13,000 on our behalf and also painted our program space this past year!

ARC OF KONA is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) to provide necessary medical oversight for participants that need nursing supervision. The RN works with Service Supervisors to write Individualized Plans (IP) and nursing delegation plans for each participant; provides training and consultation to our direct support workers in nurse delegated tasks; conducts on-site supervisory visits based on participants’ plans; and ensures medications are reviewed also in accordance with the participants’ plans. Contribute meaningful support to people with disabilities in your community while working minimal, flexible hours.

Position Requirements:
1) Current Nursing License
2) Current 2 step TB test (not required for interview)
3) Current auto insurance card & registration
4) Valid Driver’s License

DIRECT SUPPORT WORKERS: KONA, HILO, KAPAAU, WAIKOLOA, WAIMEA, HONOKAA, LAUPAHOEHOE. Various hours/shifts in each location. Arc of Kona is seeking a full time (40 hour per week) passionate, committed individual to join our team as a Residential Support Specialist (RSS). The RSS provides support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities living in our Group Home to live their lives to the fullest and as independently as possible. The RSS teaches, mentors, and supports each of the tenants in a way that honors and respects their own preferences and needs. This position requires overnight shifts. As a RSS, your work will be rewarding and vital to the overall success of our tenants and the organization.
