🐾 Bring plenty of water for pets to drink.
🐾 Don’t let them eat or lick algae from their fur.
🐾 Follow any guidance on posted signs.
🐾 Rinse yourself and your pets off with tap water right after recreating.

Altitude matters in canning. At higher elevations, water boils at a lower temperature.

Safe processing requires more time for boiling water or steam canning, or more pressure for pressure canning, at elevations of 1,000 feet or more. Using sea-level directions at higher elevations leads to underprocessed food.

Not sure about your elevation? Check your city or county website, local planning office, or a reliable elevation tool.
