On Saturday, December 6th Kaukauna Post 41 held a Dedication Ceremony for a memorial bench installed on the Heritage Trail. The bench was dedicated to James and Betty McDaniel. Betty Was a member of the Legion and VFW Unit Auxiliaries. She was always a great supporter of our Military. James was a 62 year member of Kaukauna Post 41. He was also involved with Outagamie County and Kaukauna City politics. A big thank you to Outagamie Commisioner Tom Nelson, Kaukauna Mayor Tony Penterman and Kaukauna Alderperson Jennie Eggleston for attending. Also a big thank you to the McDaniel family for the great turnout. Thank you to Post 41 members Commander Tim Stuczynski, 1st Vice Commander Jim Van De Hey, Sgt-at-Arms Bill Jorgensen, Chaplain Bruce Werschem, Adjutant Bill Jensen, members of the Kaukauna Auxiliary Unit 41, and VFW Post 3319 members.
