Fall is one of our favorite times of year as we welcome students back to 1000 Islands for field trips! Along with our school programs, we have plenty of fun, family-friendly events planned for everyone to enjoy. The goats return on September 21, and we're especially excited to host our very first Focus on the Fox: Community Campfire and Torchlit River Walk. Take a look at all the exciting programs happening this September! https://www.kaukauna.gov/events/photo/?tribe_eventcategory%5B0%5D=32

Focus on the Fox is all about highlighting the importance of our local waterways as we celebrate World Rivers Day with events all throughout September!

Mark your calendar for Sept 19! We will kick off the day by teaming up with the crew from Amcor to clean up litter along the Fox River and throughout the Conservancy Zone. Every piece of trash removed helps protect our waterways and keep our natural spaces beautiful for everyone to enjoy. Come lend a hand, meet new people, and have fun while giving back to nature!

After the cleanup, kids have a chance to learn how to fish from the Kaukauna High School Fishing team! They can also try out crayfishing, or take a hike along the Fox River on the Boardwalk Trail. It's a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, try something new, and spend quality time with family and friends.
