Today is the one year anniversary of The Jesus House-Kaufman, we had 102 people in the building, praise God!!

Do you ever get frustrated at the ups and downs life? Do you wish there was more stability in your life? Life can be difficult at times when things don’t remain constant: losing a job, broken marriages, friends moving away, kids growing up and leaving home, relocating because of a job, death of your parents, deteriorating health, changing churches or pastors, loss of a pet, etc.

Life will change. But there is something God wants us to know that will not change and that is Himself and His word:

“The grass withers, and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever." (Isaiah 40:8)

His word will not change. His promises to us will not change. We can count on God to always be there. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)

When our life begins changing around us, the best thing we can do is to spend time every day with the Lord reading the Word that never changes. It will give us a constant sense of stability when we do! He is the calm in the storm and the rock on shifting ground. It is through spending time in His Word that we will experience His strength and stability.

The world will change around us and out life will change but with God and His Word, we will be able to live a life that will not be affected by any of it!
