Child Injury Prevention - Kaufman County CFRT Supported by Texas DSHS Injury Prevention Unit.

Kaufman County Child Fatality Review Team (CFRT) is a working group of community partners that review child deaths to identify strategies to decrease preventable child deaths to educate the community.

With summer in full swing and June coming to an end, we cannot emphasize enough the need for water safety. Always have an adult who can swim with children. Each summer we receive questions regarding dry drowning and the fear that a child might be affected weeks later.
