🚨 WATER SERVICE NOTICE – TODAY 🚨

The City of Kaufman Utilities Department will be conducting two water system projects today:

💧 9:00 AM – Temporary water shutdown for approximately 45 minutes affecting: Adams Lane, Lewis Drive, & Bacan Street.

💧 11:30 AM – Temporary water outage for several hours affecting:
Kaufman County Christian Center at 200 Fourth Street and Sunflower Park Health Center at 1803 E. Mulberry Sreet.

Customers may experience temporary air in the lines after service is restored. Crews will be flushing the system as needed.

Thank you for your patience as we complete these important water system improvements.

Kaufman Fire Department Crews Battle an Apartment Fire

Kaufman Fire Department crews quickly contained an apartment fire in the 100 block of Hampton Court on June 8, safely evacuating all residents and preventing the fire from spreading beyond a single unit.

The Kaufman Police Association’s Blue Gill Kids Fishing Tournament will not take place this year.
