Well… looks like someone skipped the “Don’t Take What Isn’t Yours” lesson back in school! 😅

At 12:53 PM today, a male subject entered Monday Elementary parking lot and helped himself to property from a teacher’s vehicle. Yep — right in the middle of the day! The photo below is from the incident, and let’s just say the Kaufman ISD Police Department would really like to have a chat with this individual.

Now, mister, you’ve got two choices:
👉 You can turn yourself in like a grown-up,
or
👉 We can let our awesome community and Kaufman County Crime Stoppers help us find you (and they’re really good at it).

To the public — we need your help identifying this individual. If you recognize him, please contact Kaufman County Crime Stoppers http://kaufmancountycrimestoppers.com or contact us at the Kaufman ISD Police Department.

Because honestly… stealing from a teacher? That’s a fast way to get an F in life choices.

🚓✨ It’s with great lion pride that we officially welcome Officer Ryan Reed as the newest member of the Kaufman ISD Police Department family!

Officer Reed will be assigned to Norman Junior High, but you’ll see him throughout the district as he helps keep our schools safe. Be sure to give him a wave or say hello when you see him—especially while he’s out front directing traffic at the Jr. High. 👋

Welcome aboard, Officer Reed! 💙🖤

🚗 School Drop-Off & Pick-Up Reminders 🚗

Parents and Guardians,
To ensure everyone’s safety and keep things running smoothly during drop-off and pick-up times, please remember the following:

✔️ Stay in the designated lanes: Avoid parking or stopping in areas not marked for drop-off or pick-up.
✔️ Pull all the way forward: This helps us keep the line moving and reduces wait times for everyone.
✔️ Be patient: Safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your cooperation.
✔️ Watch for students: Stay alert for children crossing and follow staff directions.
✔️ No cell phones: Let’s all stay focused and avoid distractions in the school zone.

Thank you for helping us keep the process safe and efficient for all students and families. Together, we can make a big difference!

Stay safe and have a great day! 👮‍♂️🚦
