This past Tuesday was National Banana Split Day. We had a banana split bar at the Kaufman Senior Center and it was much appreciated on such a scorching hot day.

Today was our first movie day at the Kaufman Senior Center and it was a hit! We watched 80 for Brady and it was great! Thanks to everyone who came and watched it with us. I want to also say a special thanks to Yvonne and her crew from Terrell Healthcare Center for joining us today! We were so happy to have y’all! Come back anytime!

Today was National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. We enjoyed several varieties of goodies during our impromptu craft time.

Wednesday we had our birthday celebration at the Kaufman Senior Center. We celebrated our March through July birthdays. (Yes, I know I’m a bit behind) Some of our birthday people couldn’t be there and they were missed. Happy birthday y’all!

Happy Independence Day from the Kaufman Senior Center! We had a great turnout for our party on Thursday. There was bingo, food and fellowship. What more could you ask for? Come see us. We would love to have you.

We celebrated Father’s Day and Juneteenth with a Pirate party at the Kaufman Senior Center! We had a fantastic turnout! (Even with the rain.) Bingo, food and fellowship. What more could you ask for? Our seniors are such good sports too! They wore pirate hats and got tatted up for the festivities. (Check out the tattoos in the pictures.)
Thanks to all who came, all who donated goodies and all who helped get this together. We appreciate the support of this community and the love they have for our seniors. Y’all come see us. We would love to have you!❤️ Picture overload coming!😉

Late post. Last Wednesday, May 27th, (in spite of the skies opening up and dumping gallons upon gallons of rain on Kaufman in a very short amount of time) we had our annual Ladies’ Tea Party at the Kaufman Senior Center! The rain kept some of our ladies at home(understandably so) but there were some that braved the flood and floated to the party! Great food and fellowship is what it’s all about. Thank you to the ladies who came. You are amazing! Thank you to everyone who helped get this together. You are appreciated more than you know!
