💚🩵 June is PTSD Awareness Month 🩵💚
Every day, countless veterans, first responders, and community members silently battle the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). While these wounds may not be visible, their impact is very real.
This month, we recognize the courage it takes to seek help, the strength it takes to heal, and the importance of supporting those affected by trauma.
The Katy Police Department is proud to stand alongside organizations dedicated to providing hope and healing to our nation's heroes. Throughout June, our Crisis Intervention Team will be raising awareness and supporting the PTSD Foundation of America's Camp Hope through our "SOS for VETS" fundraiser.
If you or someone you know is struggling, please know you are not alone. The Katy Police Department's Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) is here to help connect individuals and families with resources and support. Reaching out for help is a sign of strength, and there are people who care.
Join us this month as we raise awareness, honor those affected by PTSD, and support the veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country.
🇺🇸 PTSD is treatable. Hope is real. Help is available.
