Today we recognize Juneteenth, a day of freedom, reflection, and celebration.

On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, news of freedom reached enslaved people in Galveston, Texas. This historic moment marked the enforcement of emancipation for one of the last remaining enslaved communities in the United States.

Juneteenth reminds us of the value of freedom, the importance of community, and the stories that connect generations.

Happy Flag Day!

Did you know? On June 14, 1777, the United States approved the design of our first national flag. More than 100 years later, President Woodrow Wilson officially established June 14 as Flag Day.

Today, the American flag has 13 stripes representing the original colonies and 50 stars representing each state.

A symbol of history, unity, and the generations who helped shape our nation.

Our ceramics class is growing! 🎨

We love seeing so much excitement for this creative group! To make sure everyone has plenty of space, time to create, and support from our instructor, we’re making a few updates.

Beginning now, ceramics will be limited to 12 participants each week with advance sign-up required. We kindly ask participants to sign up for alternating weeks so everyone has an opportunity to join in the fun.
