Victory Kitchen: Serving Hope, Feeding the Soul Victory Kitchen is an organization that serves hot meals to individuals who are homeless and/or experiencing food insecurity.

Our Mission is to tackle the issue of poverty by meeting the most basic and fundamental necessity of human life, food.

Prayer 🙏🏽& Tacos 🌮 with our new partner Sneakerboxx Project!

Together we were able to feed 60 individuals and provide 60 boxes of essential items.

We thank God for all He allowed us to do today to help our brothers and sisters in Christ. 🙏🏽

For the last several days God had been putting it on our hearts to be out in the streets this Easter Sunday.

I wish I had the words to completely describe all that God did in the time we were out doing Prayer & Tacos, but it was nothing short of a miracle filled with divine appointments. One of these was evident when we met Jak, of the Shoeboxx Project, who had no idea why he was downtown today,but as he drove, he prayed that God would cross his path with people to do life and ministry with.... somehow he found us and it brought us all to tears.

So , with our new partner, we found ourselves in the streets of downtown Houston listening to people’s stories, praying for them and each other and shared the news of the resurrection of Christ with our homeless brothers and sisters.

All God wanted us to do was say “yes, I will go where you send me.”

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.””

This year Easter Sunday looks very different for my team and I. Of course we wanted to be at Easter service with our family and friends but for some reason our hearts were led to be out in the streets

While it may be unconventional and outside of our norm, I was reminded that this is exactly how Jesus operated....being counter cultural to make sure that so many would have the opportunity to encounter his love.

Pray for us on our journey today as we hold on to faith that God will show up in a mighty and tangible way.... even if it’s just for “the one”

He is Risen. He is Risen Indeed!
