Attention Karlstad residents:

💦Hydrant flushing is going on this week. If you have discoloration or smell- run cold water for a few minutes and it’ll clear up.

🚽⚠️TOMORROW: 10/7/26 sewer flushing will take place on the East side of town. Back blow is rare but can occur if air gets in the lines. Please pay attention to your toilets.

❗️ALL items need to be curbside no later than Monday, Sept. 14th. Please do not keep adding during that week as you will be charged additional load fees.

❕The city crew will be by several times collecting each category listed in the flyer. This does NOT mean keep adding to the curbside. If they find that they’ve already picked up a category and you have added more later, you will be charge for additional pick up.
