The Kansas Community Memorial Library is looking for two new board members. It is a job that requires one meeting a month for 10 months starting at 5:00 p.m. in the library on the second Wednesday of each month. December and July there are no meetings. It is an elected position, but replacing a retiring member you would just fill in their term. Terms are for 4 years. Being a board member is a way to help your community to promote the library, encourage reading, and also promote our great summer program that features Douglas Heart Nature programs. Please consider and if you're interested , you can contact the library at 217 948-5484 during business hours.
