It is a sad time in America. With the decision that SCOTUS made with overturning Roe V Wade, we must hold space for those who are struggling with this decision.

With Roe falling, a lot of unanswered questions arise when it comes to bodily autonomy and abortion access. We hope that this graphic answers some of the questions that we all have about what Roe falling means in Missouri. We make this graphic with a heavy heart, as we hoped this day would’ve never come- however unsurprising it is.

We are here for everyone 💙

It’s a very sad time in America right now. It is important that we hold space for those that need support.

This decision has opened up a lot of unanswered questions about abortion access across the nation, as well as questions about ones bodily autonomy if one has a uterus. We hope that this graphic answers some of those questions. This graphic was made with a heavy heart, as we wished this day would never come- however unsurprising it is.

We hope everybody had a wonderful day yesterday celebrating Juneteenth and it’s reserved day today.

Juneteenth is celebrated annually every year on June 19th. It is the second year in history to be celebrated as a federal holiday, yet its celebration has gone back nearly two centuries. The NMAAHC describes the history of Juneteenth. They quote, “not everyone in the confederate territory would be free. Even though the emancipation proclamation was made effective in 1863, it could not be implemented in places still under confederate control. (…) the army announced that the more than 250,000 enslaved black people in the state (Texas) were free by executive decree. This day came to be known as “Juneteenth” by the newly freed people in Texas.”

All across the USA and other countries as well, Juneteenth is a day to celebrate hope, culture, ancestors, and education. We hope everyone took time yesterday to reserve space and to educate themselves and others. 💙
