TRIO Veterans Upward Bound - Kansas City KU TRIO VUB is a University of Kansas project funded by the U.S. Department of Education. VUB is a TRIO Program funded by the U.S.

The University of Kansas Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) is an education and skills program designed specifically to serve the needs of today's veterans. We offer a unique range of services designed to prepare eligible veterans for success when they enter their chosen educational program, whether it is at a 2-year community college, a 4-year college or university, or a public or private vocational or

technical school. All services, including instruction, textbooks, advising, and supplies, are provided FREE of charge. Department of Education and is administered through the The Institute for Educational Research and Public Service in the School of Education at the University of Kansas . We serve veterans in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area including Leavenworth and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas, and Jackson, Cass, and Clay Counties in Missouri. Our main office is located in Kansas City, Kansas.

Presenter Eric Smith’s Money Smart Game was an interactive, fun and enjoyable way to sharpen money skills, and our veterans were enthusiastic participants. Thank you, Eric!
