Frontier Schools was honored to receive a resolution presented by Missouri State Representative Wick Thomas for Missouri in recognition of the groundbreaking of our new Athletic Complex and Transportation Facility.

We sincerely thank Representative Thomas for recognizing this important milestone and supporting investments that create greater opportunities for students and families in our community.

We were honored to celebrate with Missouri State Representative Wick Thomas for Missouri; Councilmember Crispin Rea; Dr. Elizabeth Sanders of Saint Louis University; Frontier Schools Board President Dennis Davis; Board Member and Facilities Committee Chair Cesar Cea; Dan VanDonge, President of Straub Construction; James Scott of Scott Associates; Patrick Sterrett of Sterrett Urban; Kevin Flattery of KLF Development; Michael Luczak, Adam Wiechman, and Craig Scranton of BNIM; Joe Close, President of Country Club Bank, a division of FNBO; Jeremy Staab, Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Program Officer; Boyd Nolen of Pro Circuit; and Jim Tuso, Director of the Missouri Wolverines.

Also joining us were Connor Wentz-Hall, Logan Stark, and Frank McCoy of Straub Construction; media representatives from KMBC 9, Dos Mundos, Univision, and Kansas City's Northeast News, and Frontier Schools Central Office staff and school principals.

Frontier Schools is investing more than $13 million in a new Athletic Complex and Transportation Facility—an important investment in our students, families, and community.

Our vision, however, extends beyond the current phase of construction. Due to the overall project cost, several planned amenities had to be deferred, including a playground, futsal area, outdoor classroom, bleachers, athletic field lighting, and other improvements.

We have launched a $2 million fundraising campaign to bring these amenities back into the project and complete the full vision for our students.

Don’t miss out! Frontier Schools is planning an international trip to Canada from June 30–July 4, 2027, during Summer Break. Experience historic landmarks, explore diverse cultures, and make lasting memories with the Frontier Family! 🍁💙

The trip is open to Frontier staff, parents/guardians, alumni, and high school students. PreK–8th grade students may also participate when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents are welcome to join even if their child does not attend Frontier!

¡No se lo pierdan! Frontier Schools está organizando un viaje internacional a Canadá del 30 de junio al 4 de julio de 2027, durante las vacaciones de verano. ¡Conozcan lugares históricos, exploren diversas culturas y creen recuerdos inolvidables con la Familia Frontier! 🍁💙

El viaje está abierto a personal de Frontier, padres/tutores, exalumnos y estudiantes de secundaria. Los estudiantes de PreK–8.º grado también pueden participar si están acompañados por uno de sus padres o tutor. ¡Los padres también pueden participar aunque su hijo no asista a Frontier!
