If you are in need of food, come join us at our Mobile Food Distribution at Christ Community Church next Tuesday, September 1st. We are partnering with Harvesters to distribute food at this location the first Tuesday of every month until December, so mark your calendars! If there is inclement weather on the date, Mobile Food may be cancelled. Please check our Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas’ page for an update, if necessary.

Please Share: Additional Storm Resources | Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC)

Wyandotte County residents affected by last week's storm will have another opportunity to connect directly with recovery organizations at a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) this Saturday.

The MARC brings multiple organizations together in one location, allowing residents to seek assistance without having to contact each agency separately.

*Where: Kensington Community Center | 2900 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas
*When: Saturday, August 29
*Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Residents needing assistance with home repairs, replacement of essential items, longer-term housing or other recovery needs can speak directly with organizations providing assistance and referrals.

Residents who cannot attend Saturday's MARC can call 311 to report their needs and be connected with available assistance.

The MARC is another step in the recovery effort, but it does not mean storm recovery is over. Debris removal, electrical repairs, volunteer coordination and assistance for affected households will continue in the coming weeks.
