One World Wyandotte Street Festivals, Presented by Security Bank of Kansas City are coming to downtown Kansas City, Kansas.

Held on select Kick It In KCK event dates, the festivals will bring 7th Street outside Memorial Hall to life with live music, food trucks, local vendors, and cultural programming celebrating the diverse communities of Wyandotte County.

Whether you're attending a watch party or simply looking for a fun night in downtown KCK, the festival offers another way to experience the energy, culture, and community that make Kansas City, Kansas, unique.

Free admission and open to the public

Trash & Recycling Delayed for Memorial Day
Kansas City, Kansas residents should expect a one-day delay in residential trash and recycling collection during the week of Memorial Day.

Waste Management of Kansas City, Inc. will not collect residential trash or recycling on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. Collection will run one day behind for the remainder of the week.

The revised collection schedule is:

Monday: Place items at the street or curb edge on Tuesday, May 26
Tuesday: Place items at the street or curb edge on Wednesday, May 27
Wednesday: Place items at the street or curb edge on Thursday, May 28
Thursday: Place items at the street or curb edge on Friday, May 29
Friday: Place items at the street or curb edge on Saturday, May 30

Twice a year, DEA joins forces with local law enforcement and community groups to host DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, giving the public a safe and anonymous way to dispose of expired and unused prescription medications. PLEASE SHARE: Reminder that trainings will be conducted today through Thursday adjacent to NFM by The Legends.Expect to see a significant police and first responder presence in that area. Again, these are ONLY TRAININGS, NOT AN ACTUAL MAJOR INCIDENT.

From 9 AM until 5 PM on the following days, Wyandotte County first responders will be conducting emergency response trainings in the 1500 block of Village West Pkwy. in preparation for events related to FIFA World Cup:
