In 1954, the Supreme Court said, "All deserve the same educational chance."

Our Scholars are the living proof of that promise.

They come from every corner of this region. They've faced real obstacles. And they showed up anyway because they believed, just like Thurgood Marshall and the families of Topeka, that education is the ultimate equalizer.

On this anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education, we celebrate every Scholar who refuses to let circumstance write their story.

The door was opened, but you are the ones who walk through it.
