First, I would like to thank everyone again for supporting this project. Our display has now been relocated to the Midwest Genealogy Center, which has a beautiful new facility. We hope this will increase our exposure in the Kansas City Area. This display really showcases just a few of the distinguished members of Wayne Miner Post 149 American Legion. From a general, recipients of Silver and Bronze Stars, Amry, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard members. They have asked for the display to remain for the next six months.

Wayne Miner Post # 149, American Legion, attended the Lincoln College Preparatory Academy JROTC Parent's Appreciation Ceremony for 2024. Being invited by the Senior Army Instructor Dr. CW4 Edwards, the post presented ribbons and certificates to outstanding cadets in the Scholastics and Military Excellence categories. We witnessed Drill Downs Armed and Unarmed Drill Team performances—a slide show of all activities of the past year. As noted by Chief Edwards, this has been his and the post's eleventh year working together on this program. Keep up the excellent work!

Wayne Miner Post # 149, American Legion, was privileged to attend the East High School of Kansas City JROTC Award and Recognition Ceremony. Thanks to Senior Army Instructor Lt.Col ® Chip Potter, the post could present ribbons and certificates to outstanding cadets in the Scholastics and Military Excellence categories. To see these young cadets' pride, discipline, and esprit de corp was eye-opening. This program has gone from 40 cadets last year to over 200 this year. They accomplished this by the JROTC instructors, the principals, teachers, counselors, and staff working together to make a big difference in these young people's lives. Keep up the excellent work, WELL DONE!
