This week at Donna's Dress Shop Our Pride Collection continues with a collection of tee shirts that featuring iconic Kansas City bars, the Dixie Belle, Taps, Sidekicks, The Windjammer, plus shirts from LGBTQIA+ western and leather bars across the country, gay rodeo tees, and more, all from the 1980s and 1990s. This collection all came from one man, and he had some great ones! These debut in store this Friday. We be open extended hours (12-8pm) for Third Friday on 39th Street. These tees, and so much more, will be available Friday ❤️ Stay tuned for more from this collection!

Third Fridays are a low-key community evening where we have live music, boutiques and shops stay open for extended hours, and there are happy hours throughout the corridor. Get outside and walk around, grab a coffee or drink, do a little shopping and enjoy time outside!

Checking out this recommendation by Lacy Foltz - Mortgage Lender Tucked away in KC, Room 39 is one of those places you walk into and instantly feel at home. The cozy, quaint vibe is everything - like a little hidden gem you almost want to keep to yourself (but it’s too good not to share).

From the moment we sat down, the service was so warm and attentive, and everything we ordered was so well done.

If you’re looking for a spot that feels intimate, inviting, and consistently delivers, this is it. Definitely one I’ll be going back to again 🤍💚 Room 39

What we got:
Mixed Grill Platter: shish tawook, shish kebab, lamb chops
Mansaf: lamb shank, rice, yogurt sauce
Mandi: chicken, rice, Mandi sauce

They are under new management and are serving Mediterranean and middle eastern cuisine. Other menu items include shawarma, gyros, falafel, Philly cheesesteak, and mango lemonade.
