We’re excited to invite you to our next neighborhood gathering on Tuesday, May 12 at 6:30 PM at The Way Church (4326 Lloyd St.).

This month, we’ll be joined by WyCo Public Works, who will be speaking about road infrastructure in the city and in our neighborhood. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about ongoing projects, ask questions, and share feedback.

It should be a great time to connect with neighbors and stay informed about what’s happening in our community.

Hi, Neighbor.
We will have one more gathering this year on November 11, 2025, in the hopes of recruiting a new generation of leaders for our neighborhood group.
Will you help us determine the future of our neighborhood group
at a SPECIAL gathering on TUESDAY, November 11, 2025, 6:30-7:30, 4326 Lloyd.
Our group needs a NEW GENERATION OF NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERS
providing VISION, INITIATIVE and COMMITMENT
if it is to continue in its mission of promoting
CIVIC PRIDE, SAFETY and BEAUTIFICATION.
Frank Rushton Neighborhood Association was formed in 1991 by area residents, many of whom have passed away. Our non-profit group has bylaws and is registered with the state of Kansas and the Unified Government. Officer elections are held annually.
In its 35 years, neighborhood projects have focused on crime, cleanup, loaning tools, block parties, a regular newsletter and regular informative meetings spotlighting local presenters. Members have applied for and implemented grant projects. When needed, residents have attended UG Commission meetings to show support for a local project, such as flood control.
Our neighborhood group has helped us to feel like a community, where people are paying attention.
Please, bring your vision and voice to our SPECIAL MEETING on November 11, 2025.

TRASH HOLIDAYS

Thursday is the assigned day for trash pickup in our neighborhood.
However, trash is not collected on the following holidays:
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
When trash day falls on or after a holiday, service will be one day later that week, unless the holiday falls on a weekend. For example, during a holiday week, Thursday’s trash will be picked up on Friday.
