The Park Hill Boys Swim and Dive have had a busy few weeks. Here is a recap of the team results from our past few meets:
9/1/26--Park Hill vs Park Hill South (76 pt to 110 pts). Team Record 0-1
The Trojans were led by (top scoring performances)--200 Medley Relay team of Cormac Waters, Rainer Realina, Isaac Stewart and Ronan Waters- 2nd place. The trio of Evan Parkes, R. Waters and Matthew McManus finished 3rd through 5th in the 200 Free. Realina won the 200 IM and was followed by Samuel Oetting and Carter Miller in 4th and 5th place. Stewart finished as runner-up in the 50 Free and Austin Cooper scored points for the team in 5th place. Parks Dougherty and Landon Ewigman paced the Trojans on the 1 meter with 3rd and 5th place finishes. Angelo Rodriguez was runner-up in the 100 Fly along with Max Collings and Miller scoring some needed points in 4th and 5th place. C. Waters and Creighton Lopata finished 3rd and 4th in the 100 Free. The trio of Stewart, Parkes and Wyatt Allen finished 1st, 2nd and 5th in the 500 Free. The 2nd place 200 Free Relay team of Oetting, Collings, Cooper and Lopata led the team. The Waters brothers paced the Trojans with 2nd and 4th place finishes in the 100 Back. Realina and Oetting finished 2nd and 4th place in 100 Breast. The 400 Free Relay teams of Stewart, Lopata, C. Waters and R. Waters finished 2nd and the team of Parkes, Collings, Allen, Realina finished a close 3rd.
9/8/26--Park Hill vs St. Joe Central, St. Joe Benton, Platte County Savannah. Team Record 4-1
The Trojans travelled to St. Joe for a quad meet. Top 3 finishes for PH included--The team R. Waters, Realina, Rodriguez, Stewart finished first in the 200 Medley relay, followed by the team of C. Waters, Oetting, Parkes, and Allen in 3rd. The Trojans finished with the top 5 spots in the 200 Free with the trio of Collings, Lopata, Cooper pacing the Trojans. The Stewart, Parkes, and McManus trio placed in the top 3 spots for the 200 IM. Realina and C. Waters finished 2nd and 3rd in the 50 Free. Park Hill took the top 6 spots in the 100 Fly with Stewart, R. Waters and Realina leading the way. Miller finished as runner-up in the 100 Free. C. Waters and Oetting swam to 1st and 3rd place finishes in the 500 Free. The 200 Free teams of Parkes, Miller, C. Waters and Collings won the event, followed closely by the team of Rodriguez, Cooper, McManus, and Everett Meyer in 3rd place. R. Waters paced the Trojan Backstrokers with the victory, with the team having 4 of the top 6 spots. McManus and Parkes finished 1st and 2nd in the 100 Breast. The 400 Free Relay teams of Stewart, Allen, Cooper and Realina won the event, and the team of R. Waters, Collings, Lopata and Oetting finishing 2nd.
9/12/26- Park Hill vs North Kansas City, Winnetonka, Staley, Oak Park and Kearney. Team Record 9-1
Park Hill took a quick ride over to Gladstone for the meet against 5 teams Saturday. Top finishers for PH Swim and Dive included-- C. Waters, Realina, Rodriguez, R Waters won the 200 Medley Relay and the team of Allen, Oetting, Collings and Cooper finished in 3rd place. Stewart and Miller paced the Trojans in the 200 Free with 1st and 5th place swims. PH took 6 of the top 9 places in the event. C. Waters and Lopata raced to 1st and 3rd places in the 200 IM. The 50 Free saw R. Waters and Parkes finish 2nd and 4th place. Dougherty and Ewigman twisted and flipped to 1st and 4th place on the 1 meter. The 100 Fly saw Parkes and C. Waters finish 3rd and 4th for PH. Rodriguez and Allen with 3rd and 4th place finishes in the 100 Free. The Trojans were paced by R. Waters and Realina in the 500 Free with their 4th and 5th place result. The 200 Free Relay team of Stewart, Lopata, Rodriguez and C Waters won the event. Oetting led the Trojan backstrokers with a 3rd place finish. Realina and Stewart raced to a 1-2 finish in the 100 Breaststroke for PH. The Trojans capped off the meet with a victory in the 400 Free Relay. Lopata, Collings, R. Waters and Stewart took the top spot and the team of Parkes, Miller, Oetting and Realina with the 3rd place finish.
Next up for Trojan Swim and Dive is a meet on Tuesday 9/15 at PHAC against St. Pius and Kearney. Meet starts at 4:15. Come out and cheer us on, we'd love to see you there!
