🎣 Fishing Club is TODAY! 🎣

Looking for a fun, free activity for the whole family? Join us today, June 3rd, from 5:00–7:30 PM at the St. Anne Ponds for the next meeting of the Reel Justice Fishing Club!

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced angler, everyone is welcome. We’ll be targeting a variety of fish species using live bait and lures while enjoying an evening outdoors.

✅ Poles, tackle, and bait provided
✅ Open to kids and adults
✅ Parents and guardians encouraged to attend

Good evening!
The Reel Justice Fishing Club, founded by Jim Rowe, Kankakee County State's Attorney, is thrilled to invite you to the St Anne ponds on Wednesday, June 3rd, from 5pm to 730pm. This fantastic opportunity allows you to share quality time with your loved ones, creating unforgettable memories. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm - poles and bait are supplied! We'll provide water and bug spray to ensure a comfortable experience. Every child who attends will receive a free raffle ticket 🎟 for a chance to win an amazing fishing pole with a starter kit, generously donated by Chief Todd and his wife. The drawing will take place at 7pm, and the winner must be present to claim their prize. Although we've faced rainy days in the past, our spirits remain high, and we're confident we'll catch plenty of fish and have a blast with the kids. Our experienced team will be on-site to guide beginners and share their knowledge. We're looking forward to seeing you on the 3rd! Chief Todd

Looking for a fun, family-friendly way to spend your evening outdoors? Come cast a line with us at our next fishing club event! Whether you’re a beginner or experienced angler, everyone is welcome. Rods, tackle, and bait are all provided — completely FREE!

Looking for a safe, fun, and engaging summer program for your child? The Kankakee County State’s Attorney’s Office Community Division is offering a FREE summer opportunity for students in grades K–12!

Students will have the chance to:

🪝🐠The first outing of our Reel Justice Fishing Club season is TODAY, May 20th!🪝🐠
We will be meeting at Bird Park Quarry in Kankakee from 5pm-7:30pm. Remember, all poles, tackle and bait is provided and parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to attend. The Club is open to anglers of all skill levels and ages. If you have a favorite fishing pole, please bring it, as availability can become limited depending on turnout.
