3d Marine Littoral Regiment The 3d Marine Littoral Regiment is the inaugural MLR of the United States Marine Corps

The 3d Marine Littoral Regiment is the inaugural MLR of the United States Marine Corps based at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, falling under the 3rd Marine Division and the III Marine Expeditionary Force. As designed, the 3d MLR is comprised of a headquarters element and three subordinate commands. These subordinate commands are the 3rd Littoral Anti-Air Battalion, the Combat Logistics Battalion 3; and the Littoral Combat Team 3.

Stronger together 🤝

U.S. Marines assigned to 3rd Littoral Combat Team, 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, participate in a jungle survival class hosted by Philippine marines assigned to 3rd Marine Brigade, during KAMANDAG 10 at Paredes Air Station, Philippines, June 18, 2026.

The jungle survival course focused on essential fieldcraft skills, including fire starting, trap construction, and food procurement, strengthening Marines’ ability to sustain operations and survive in austere environments.
