The Kane County America 250 Committee was pleased to present the county's Elementary Students with a color sheet contest this spring before they dismissed from school for the summer. With nearly 200 entries, the selection committee had their work cut out for them. We want to thank every child that took color to paper for this special celebration. You will find all the entries submitted distributed across downtown Kanab over the month of June. Be sure that, even if your child was not a winner, they enjoy going out and finding their sheet. The committee had 3 categories K-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade and 5th-6th grade, and then out of those 3 winners we selected an overall winner. Winners taking $50 each and the Overall winner and additional $50. We had so much fun that we might just make this an annual competition. Congratulations to the winners and a BIG OL' THANK YOU to all those that entered.
