There’s been a lot of tough goodbyes these past few weeks at Glacier as students graduate, staff retire, and others move on to new adventures.
However, we want to say a special goodbye to a cherished member of the Pack, our head custodian, Judd.
Anyone who has worked with Judd over the last 19 years knows just how special he is. He is the type of humble, hardworking man who you want in your community, the supportive colleague you want to work beside, and the incredible educator every student should have the chance to learn from. And when we say he loves our students, he LOVES our students. Football games, Special Olympics, Speech and Debate, you name it…Judd has shown up for it. His own daughters are even graduates of the Pack.
Simply put, Judd helped shape Glacier. Not just the building, but our values as a Wolfpack. We are who we are in so many ways, because of who he is. Judd demonstrated grit, gratitude, and grace every day caring for our school and for all of us and the entire community owes him an enormous debt of gratitude.
Judd, you are proof that one man truly can make a difference when you care deeply about those around you. You were never just a number. You were our number one.
We love you and we will miss you. 💚💙
