The Great Fish Community Challenge continues! And our supporters have turned out in full force; thanks so much to the 87 donors who have contributed so far. But there are still nine days remaining in the Challenge. So if you haven't given yet or are considering making a donation for the first time, now is the time! Every little bit supports CRYJ's teens as they navigate some of life's biggest challenges, learn from their mistakes, take accountability, and build skills and community - all outside of the criminal justice system.

Even though school is back and summer is winding down, the Columbia Falls Community Market is still popping! CRYJ is excited to be the featured nonprofit at next week's Thursday market. Stop by and say hello, learn more about CRYJ, hear about how CRYJ is making it easier for Columbia Falls teens to participate, and visit all your favorite market vendors. We'll see you there!

As an organization that has been around for nearly 30 years (!), we need a reminder sometimes to take the step back from some of the new and exciting things happening at CRYJ, and simply share about the foundational work we do: meeting teens where they are at and supporting them in taking accountability as they navigate that very human thing of making mistakes and learning from those mistakes. Here's a little more about what CRYJ looks like for our teen participants, and most importantly, our program's impact in our community.

May we all capture the spirit of community...as these two young'uns already know, we can find our best selves alongside others! Who were YOU as a teenager? Popular enough last year that we are bringing it back: an opportunity to glance back at your teen self with a little costume rack and photo booth. Where is this, you ask? Whitefish Community Foundation is hosting the Great Fish Launch Party TODAY at Glacier Bank Park. We'll be there from 5-7:30 p.m with 88 other nonprofits to celebrate the start of the Great Fish Community Challenge. See you there! And remember to support CRYJ!

Fresh merch alert! We did a little colab with FDES to get some new merch - and in a variety of sizes, colors, and styles. While the hats are all new, everything else is upcycled - ready for its next life sporting CRYJ patches or screenprinting! So come get your one of a kind CRYJ gear! Stop by our August 19th open house, or shoot us a message if you see something you like (there's also a lot more not pictured!)

It's been a long time since we've thrown open the doors and invited everyone in to our Kalispell office! This evening will be an opportunity to connect with CRYJ's wide-reaching community, from those we collaborate with routinely to those curious about who we are and what we do! Expect to encounter incredible community energy, a high volume of teen art and comfy furniture, BRAND NEW and very cool handmade CRYJ merch, and information about upcoming expansions in CRYJ's youth services offerings. Can't wait to see you there! (no RSVP needed). Oh, and Sweet Peaks Ice Cream 🥰
