As the 4th largest State in the nation Apgar Ambulance recognized the need to provide closer service and ambulance loaners.

Yesterday Montana's Department of Public Health and Human Services presented their annual EMS WEEK awards at the Capitol with Montana Lt. Gov. Kristen Juras recognizing members of Lewistown Fire Rescue, Bitterroot Health Ambulance, the Central Valley Fire District, and the Flathead County Emergency Medical Services.

Congratulations to all the award winners and candidates!

Volunteer EMS Provider of the Year Award

This award honors a volunteer EMS provider who is exemplary in his/her quality of patient care and dedication to their community.

Brian Godbey, Senior Firefighter-EMT, Lewistown Fire Rescue

Career EMS Provider of the Year Award

This award is for a career EMS provider who exemplifies quality of care and dedication to the community.

Wow, even when we worked with Medtec we Sold #5555, #6666 and even #7777 the same month they were closing down. So 10,000 Braun Ambulances is huge especially with our Friends at Penn Care delivering it. We re-mount our 3rd Braun this month.

This is EV Rant day …I may be the minority when it comes to the future of Electric Vehicles. But this research is solid and
using 15 years of Data ….. it looks sad for Diesel especially now at $5.67 a gallon and 10 Miles per gallon ! Let’s pay $12.00 to go 20 miles in an Ambulance ?

Fact: in Norway where they have Hydro Electric Power the Electric Vehicle is #1 and 65% buyers choice over smelly and expensive Diesel.

I am now riding in 7 year old Tesla X model Cabs that have had a new battery swap at 750,000 miles for $10,000 dollars and are on the way to achieving 1,000,000 Million+ miles with battery swaps much cheaper than a new Gas Engine of $24,000.

Yesterday I paid $28.00 to Park but if I had an E.V. I would have paid the same $28.00 while being plugged in and gaining another 100 miles of EV range for the same parking price.

The new RAM 1500 REV is the design bridge to full EV as batteries become faster to charge 80% in 18 minutes?
The new RAM REV becomes the first production pickup with a small engine under the hood whose sole purpose is to be a generator/charger to recharge a 92KW battery.
So no need to panic, drive 400 miles on EV power and the small gas engine fires up becoming a generator charger… You never need to worry about being stranded. ALL that and huge 663 Horsepower, 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds? Faster than my Lexus RX500h ? Make mine a RAM 4500 soon so I can place a new Demers Ambulance Body on the Chassis Cab !
We already plug every Ambulance in..Why not have it Charging the battery to (2) 400 Volt Electric Motors?
Stand By this as this story is just getting started. Yes your EV Buses and very quiet EV Garbage trucks will be quietly cruising some neighbor hoods sooner than expected.

Montana History moment Missoula Montana approximately 1952?
The owners of the J.M. Lucy & Sons store shown in the back also had three Lucy men involved in both Undertaker and Coroner duties…..and yes also the town Ambulance.
This is a 1950 Buick Ambulance.
Yes we have come along ways in Montana EMS. ✅
