My name is Heather Asher and I’m asking for your vote for SD5.
I represent the silent majority. I represent the parents that believe in the constitution, hold conservative values and believe that The United States Of America is the greatest country in the world. I represent the parents that want these views and values taught to our children in SD5.
I represent the parents that are watching our schools and nation slip down a scary path and want things to change but aren’t sure where to start. I am one of those parents and I have decided it’s time to do something. It’s time to get involved and to have our voices heard.
We are living in a time unlike any other in history. I believe we are at a fork in the road and the road we choose will determine the future for our children.
There is no time to be asleep. We need trustees that are alert and on a constant lookout for the far-left activist, cancel culture and communist agenda that is creeping it’s way into our schools. It is happening all across our country and we need to do whatever it takes to ensure it doesn’t get any further into our schools here in Kalispell. We need trustees that are willing to take a stand and fight back against this agenda. We need trustees that represent us.
As a SD5 trustee I promise to put our students first fighting for their best interests. I will listen to your concerns even if we aren’t on the same page. I promise to hear you and take the time to try to understand where you are coming from. I will fight for our teachers making each and everyone of them a priority. I am so proud to be a member of this community and I hope you will give me the opportunity to give back and work for you and your children.

First of all what is communism, and how could it work its way into the free world? I feel there are a lot of people on the defense with this word I used in my bio so let me explain. When I say a communist agenda is creeping it’s way into our schools and across our nation, I’m not talking about the violence and slaughter of people you picture in China, who refuse to follow orders. I’m not talking about people lined up in Venezuela begging their Government to feed them. You don’t go to sleep one night in a free country and wake the next morning living under this tyranny. It takes time to slowly infiltrate in, unnoticed.
Communism has many forms but all forms are an evil spirit of hate. Communism tells people not to believe in God. It attacks human mortality so they abandon tradition and it causes people to disregard Gods instructions. (Example 1, we removed God from our schools Example 2, we have satanists and witchcraft books in our school libraries)
Communism uses slogans like “democracy,” “equality,” and “social justice” to work its way into our schools. (Example 3, The use of gender neutral language, no longer calling our students boys and girls. Example 4, In California they are teaching middle schoolers social justice activism. Example 5, Oregon is working on deconstructing racism in mathematics and dismantling white supremacy in math classrooms.)
Sometimes communism holds up what seems like a righteous banner such as environmentalism, globalism and political correctness. Sound familiar? (Example 6, Woke-ism Example 7, Silencing freedom of thought for fear of offending someone. Don’t let your liberal teacher see you wearing a Trump shirt)
Communism aims to do away with the concepts of patriotism and national loyalty. It has been silently gaining control over our nation through subversion and disinformation. It is wearing away at our political processes, social structures and the moral fabric of our society. We do not want this ideology encouraged or taught in our schools. What happened to the daily pledge of allegiance in the classroom? What happened to teaching our children that our flag reminds us of the sacrifices our veterans made for us and that our freedoms don’t come free? We should be promoting patriotism and traditional Conservative values in our public schools.
This is the crossroad I’m talking about for this generation of children. I am not talking about our elementary children right now. I have nothing but praise for the elementary and middle school teachers my children have had. This comment was geared toward our high schools.
“Together we must set a course for a future where schools are places of liberation for every child, enabling all of our students to thrive and reach their full potential.” -GLSEN I agree completely, but not at the expense of other students. Are ALL of our children’s voices being heard? Or are some of them being silenced in the name of “social justice” “political correctness” and “equality” all forms of communism. Are some of our students choosing to remain quiet for the sake of academic success and social well-being? What happened to freedom of thought. We don’t want our youth only believing what the government, culture and news organizations are telling them to believe.
Can you see how communism has infiltrated it’s way across our nation and how easily it can be implemented into our schools without us even recognizing it? If you still can’t see where I coming from with my communism agenda comment, I encourage you to do your own research and find out what communism in America looks like.
