Help plant trees at Frays Park on Friday, May 22 from 4:30–6 p.m.!

Join the Westwood Neighborhood Association, the City of Kalamazoo, and Dropseed for a hands-on community tree planting event led by Mike Weis from Dropseed. Supplies will be provided, and volunteers can enjoy free Menchie’s frozen yogurt!

Did you know? Frays Park sits in what was once the heart of a Mesic Prairie ecosystem, according to Michigan Natural Features Inventory maps. This is a great chance for students, families, and neighbors to learn about local ecology while helping grow a greener community.
